Cardi B Hit with $50 Million Lawsuit Over ‘Enough (Miami)’ Copyright Claims

Popular American rapper Cardi B is facing a lawsuit from two singers who accuse her of copyright infringement.
The lawsuit alleges that Cardi B used their song without permission in her track “Enough (Miami).”
Released in March, “Enough (Miami)” quickly became a top 10 hit.
According to lawsuit documents obtained by TMZ, Miguel Aguilar (known as Kemika 1956) and Joshua Fraustro (known as Sten Joddi) claim that Cardi B and her producers plagiarized elements of their 2021 song “Greasy Frybread” for her track.
The plaintiffs also state that their song was used to promote the FX series “Reservation Dogs.”
In addition to Cardi B, the lawsuit names Atlantic Records, Warner Music Group, and producers OG Parker and DJ SwanQo as co-defendants.
“Enough (Miami)” was released on March 15, 2024, nearly three years after “Greasy Frybread.”
