Saudi Arabia has unveiled its plans to host the 2034 World Cup, showcasing the cities that will stage matches for the prestigious global football tournament. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom plans to construct 11 new football stadiums across several cities, increasing the total number of stadiums to 15 as part of its bid to host the event.
The bid file was officially submitted last Monday in Paris by a delegation from the Saudi Football Federation’s bid file unit, led by Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal.
Yesterday, FIFA released the details of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious bid, which aims to host the largest World Cup ever organized in a single country. The Kingdom officially submitted its bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ in Paris.
The bid, under the slogan “Together We Grow,” has garnered positive feedback. It highlights the comprehensive plans and significant development projects supported by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fully utilizing its vast capabilities to host one of the world’s most significant sporting events, the historic FIFA World Cup.
